Insurance Claims Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida at Triad Financial Services Inc

Position Overview 

Triad Financial Services is a leading provider of financial services and solutions, serving clients worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Homeowners Insurance Claims Specialist to join our growing team.

Essential Functions: 

• Speak compassionately to homeowners about their homeowner's insurance claims/loss drafts
• Processing and monitoring all insurance claims/loss drafts
• Handling of claims funds for disbursements to pay for repairs
• Develop workable solutions that satisfy our homeowners, our client/investors, and our company
• Work in multiple systems, such as MS, MSP, and Encompass
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with homeowners about their claims/loss drafts
• Strong organizational skills
• A strong work ethic, high integrity, and well-organized mindset
• The ability to follow instructions but work with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely fashion

Minimum Qualifications: 

Required:

• Previous Homeowners Insurance experience
• Mortgage processing experience
• High-school diploma (or equivalent).
• Experience working with regulatory guidelines preferred (i.e., FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, HUD, State, Local).
• Escrow processing knowledge
• At least one year of customer service/clerical/data entry experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of various mortgage loan types and mortgage servicing procedures. Good understanding of RESPA.
• Effective project management skills and the ability to proactively problem solve.
• Ability to pay attention to detail while handling a high volume of work with multiple interruptions

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Manufactured Housing
• 2 plus years working knowledge of Encompass
