Join a collaborative, remote-first team dedicated to transforming the way students learn through engaging, high-quality educational content. In this role, you will use your expertise in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) curriculum to create clear, accurate, and curriculum-aligned learning resources that support both teachers and students. You'll contribute to video scripts, lesson materials, and assessments that simplify complex concepts while maintaining academic rigor. Working alongside content specialists, designers, and education professionals, you'll help shape impactful learning experiences that reach thousands of learners across Australia.
- Create engaging educational content, including video scripts, lesson materials, assessments, and other curriculum-aligned learning resources for VCE students.
- Transform curriculum requirements into practical lesson structures and learning experiences that support student understanding and classroom success.
- Break down complex subject matter into accessible, student-friendly explanations using strong VCE subject expertise.
- Ensure all content aligns with curriculum standards, educational best practices, and established editorial guidelines.
- Collaborate with content designers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to produce accurate, engaging, and high-quality educational materials.
- Stay up to date with curriculum developments and evidence-based teaching methodologies to continuously improve content quality.
- Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Contribute ideas, feedback, and process improvements to support continuous innovation within the content development team.
- Demonstrated experience with the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) curriculum.
- Strong subject expertise in one or more VCE disciplines, particularly Health and Human Development, Physical Education, Business Management, or Mathematics.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and engaging way.
- Experience creating educational content, lesson plans, assessments, or teaching resources is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of effective learning design and student-centered educational practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with project management tools or a willingness to learn new systems.
- Valid Australian working rights are required.
