As a People and Culture Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a positive, engaging, and growth-oriented employee experience.
You will work closely with leadership and employees to support professional development, strengthen engagement, and foster a collaborative workplace culture.
The role combines employee support, HR administration, engagement initiatives, onboarding, and people-focused projects.
You will help employees stay connected to their development goals while creating opportunities for mentorship, recognition, and career growth.
You will also use employee feedback and people data to identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen the overall employee experience.
This is a collaborative role suited to someone who is organized, empathetic, proactive, and passionate about helping people succeed.

- Conduct regular employee development follow-ups and one-on-one meetings to understand individual goals, monitor progress, and connect employees with relevant development resources and opportunities.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, mentorship opportunities, surveys, and activities designed to strengthen collaboration and morale.
- Continuously improve onboarding processes to ensure new employees receive the support, information, and resources needed to succeed from day one.
- Maintain effective feedback mechanisms and analyze employee input to identify opportunities to improve engagement, development, and satisfaction.
- Support leadership development by helping identify emerging talent and encouraging employees to pursue growth and leadership opportunities.
- Partner with People and Culture leadership and other leaders to align employee development and engagement initiatives with broader organizational priorities.
- Build trusted relationships with employees and managers, promoting open communication, collaboration, and alignment across the organization.
- Develop and monitor People and Culture KPIs and provide clear reporting on the progress and impact of employee-focused initiatives.
- Analyze engagement data, employee feedback, and relevant workplace trends to help inform people strategies and continuously improve employee experience.
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support, including attendance monitoring, employee record maintenance, HR correspondence, and other administrative activities.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities, including resume reviews, candidate outreach, interview scheduling, and coordination with hiring managers.
- Respond to employee questions and concerns and provide appropriate support or escalation when necessary.
- Provide backup support for People and Culture operations during leadership absences and contribute to broader HR projects as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in employee engagement, employee development, human resources administration, or a related people-focused function.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and leaders at different levels.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong active listening and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in understanding employee needs and supporting their development.
- Empathetic, approachable, and trustworthy approach to handling employee interactions and sensitive workplace matters.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take ownership of people-focused initiatives.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to use employee feedback, engagement information, and basic people metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Familiarity with the IT industry or technology environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling employee information and HR-related documentation.
- Competitive annual salary of $48,000–$55,000.
