This is a senior engineering opportunity focused on building and evolving scalable, cloud-native software applications.
You’ll work primarily on backend development while contributing to frontend capabilities where needed.
The role offers ownership across the software lifecycle, from design and development through maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
You’ll work with modern technologies including C#, .NET, AWS, Redis, OpenSearch, and cloud-based development practices.
Beyond coding, you’ll influence engineering quality through code reviews, technical feedback, and process improvements.

- Develop and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET, Web API, Redis, OpenSearch, AWS, and other cloud-native technologies, with the primary focus on backend engineering.
- Build reliable software solutions while contributing to frontend development using JavaScript and TypeScript as required.
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize application functionality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Apply strong Entity Framework expertise to develop and maintain data-access layers and backend services.
- Perform routine application maintenance, production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective, sustainable solutions.
- Conduct detailed and constructive code reviews, helping maintain high standards for code quality, security, maintainability, and performance.
- Lead or contribute to software and engineering process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to increase development efficiency and product quality.
- Provide constructive technical input and feedback to engineering leaders and colleagues.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives, working independently or collaboratively depending on business and technical needs.
- Contribute to the adoption of emerging technologies and engineering practices that can improve development workflows and application capabilities.
- 7–10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong track record of delivering production-grade applications.
- Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET, with substantial hands-on experience developing backend systems.
- Strong experience with .NET Web API development and modern backend application architecture.
- Solid, hands-on expertise with Entity Framework and data-access patterns.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to contribute across an approximately 80% backend / 20% frontend development environment.
- Experience working with cloud services, particularly AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
- Experience with modern source-control and collaborative development workflows, including Git/GitHub.
- Strong understanding of software quality, application performance, reliability, troubleshooting, and maintainable engineering practices.
- Ability to conduct effective code reviews and provide clear, constructive technical feedback.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex technical challenges independently.
- Ability to lead initiatives while also collaborating effectively with engineers, technical leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Redis and OpenSearch is valuable.
- Experience with vector databases such as Zilliz, graph databases such as Neo4j, or other modern data technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude or Cursor is a plus.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to continuously evaluate new technologies and improve engineering practices.
- Competitive base salary: approximately $160,000–$190,000 annually, with the broader stated compensation range extending up to $230,000 depending on location, qualifications, experience, skills, and performance.
