CEI Resident Compliance Specialist with Creative Engineering, a subsidiary of DJ&A

Position Summary:

As a CEI Resident Compliance Specialist, you’ll ensure regulatory compliance on State- and Federal-funded construction projects, with an emphasis on FDOT requirements, EEO/AA laws, DBE, and OJT programs. You will analyze compliance data, attend all relevant trainings, and support project and district teams to uphold Creative’s high standards of quality and integrity.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $25–$29 per hour
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Work Location: Based out of Miami; remote work is not an option

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required experience:
    - Minimum 1 year as a Resident Compliance Specialist or
    - 2 years supporting compliance monitoring on construction projects
  • Prior experience with FDOT-funded or State/Federal Aid construction projects
  • Knowledge of EEO/AA laws and FDOT’s DBE and OJT programs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, collect, and evaluate compliance data; initiate corrective actions as needed
  • Attend all Resident Compliance Specialist training sessions/workshops
  • Spend designated time at the District Compliance office
  • Work collaboratively with project team members to ensure compliance with all standards and requirements
  • Utilize Creative’s digital tools (SharePoint, apps, etc.) to streamline reporting and communication

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying compliance regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
