Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Behaviour Residential Support Workers, to support daily support to youth within group home settings. In this role , we rely on your commitment to ensure, comfort, well-being and support of youth and their families. The ideal candidate is committed to helping another person in their community.

Responsibilities
- Committed to providing support in a quality 24/7 group home, focused on the individual behaviour needs.
- You have a Developmental Service, or Community Support Service or Social Services diploma with experience working with aggressive behavioural clients.
This role offers the opportunity to work with children and young people, particularly those suffering with symptoms related to ADD/ADHD, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mental health issues, disruptive behaviours, family dynamics and educational struggles.
Experience
- Ability to support and manage challenging behaviours.
- Ability to build therapeutic rapport and follow prescribed programming.
- Experience in design and implementation of life skills,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office or similar programmes
Job Qualifications
- University degree or College diploma in a related discipline such as Personal Support Worker, Developmental Service Worker or Social Service Worker Program
- Minimum of 3- 6 months experience working with aggressive behaviours
- Experience with individuals with autism, mental health, behavioural, and complex needs
Additional Requirements:
- Certification in a recognized Crisis Intervention- NVCI
- G class driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is REQUIRED
- Cleared Vulnerable Sector Police Check (within 6 months)
- CPR and First Aid certification (current)
- Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
- Immunisation Records
- Language: English and french is considered an asset!
- Location: Hawkesbury
