Technical Analyst in at Catalyst Solutions

We are seeking a Technical Analyst to support and optimize technology systems used across health plan operations. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to analyze, configure, implement, and troubleshoot core health plan platforms (e.g., claims processing, enrollment, eligibility, or benefits administration systems).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
2. Configure, test, and support health plan systems, including claims, enrollment, eligibility, and benefits platforms.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Compliance, Client Services) to identify and resolve system issues.
4. Perform data analysis and generate reports to support business decision-making.
5. Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
6. Document system processes, workflows, and configuration changes.
7. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system changes before deployment.
8. Provide troubleshooting support and root-cause analysis for technical issues.
9. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations related to health plan data and systems.
10. Support ongoing process improvement initiatives related to technology and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in health plan, healthcare, or health insurance technology environments preferred
• Familiarity with core administration platforms (e.g., QNXT, Facets, HealthRules, or similar) a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, compliance, and regulatory requirements in healthcare a plus
