Position Title: Move Supervisor
Position Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Reports To: Operations Manager / Branch Manager
Pay Range: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated moving industry leadership experience. Eligible for overtime.
Location: Austin, TX
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Under minimal supervision, the Move Supervisor is responsible for the successful execution of commercial moving projects and onsite relocation services. This position supervises crews of approximately 5-15 movers, coordinates daily move activities, ensures customer satisfaction, minimizes damages and claims, and maintains accountability for the overall success of each move.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and lead crews of 5-15 movers during commercial moving projects.

Manage all aspects of assigned moves from arrival through completion.

Serve as the primary onsite representative for MFS.

Conduct pre-move briefings and assign responsibilities.

Minimize damages, loss incidents, and customer claims through proper procedures.

Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.

Complete move documentation and reports.

Enforce MFS safety standards and operational procedures.

Safely operate a 26-foot box truck as needed.

Train and develop moving personnel.

Coordinate with Operations, Project Managers, and customers.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years of moving industry experience required.

Previous crew lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Valid driver license with safe, clean record.

Minimum 2 years documented experience operating a 26-foot box truck in the United States.

Must satisfy motor vehicle record and background screening requirements.
