Due' Cucina Italiana is looking for a Food Expeditor/Cold Line Cook to join our team! The restaurant is located in Redmond. This is a part-time position with availability needed Monday-Friday from roughly 9:00am - 2:30pm.

In this role, the Expeditor/Cold Line Cook will:

• Demonstrate and uphold our company core values.
• Put orders together with a sense of urgency, making sure all plates are properly garnished.
• Be responsible for ensuring orders are completed to guest satisfaction and restaurant manager’s specifications.
• Keep open communication with the Front of House team to effectively meet the needs of our guests.
• Monitor prepared menu items to determine if quality standards are being obtained.
• Properly break down the station and clean for the next shift, restocking if necessary.
• Assist with basic food preparation, packaging, and labeling items when needed.
• Keep kitchen clean and organized including the walk-in.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Other duties as necessary and assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• This position is subject to a background check that includes verification of the legal right to work in the United States. • 1 year of previous kitchen experience.

• Possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s card within 7 days of hire.
• Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and move quickly.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc.
• Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Scheduling flexibility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must speak conversational English.
• Ability to speak or understand Spanish is a plus (although not required).
