Summary
The Direct Support Professional that supports our Mardi Gras Recycling Center works alongside our participants in our bead room offering assistance with daily tasks including bead sorting, helping to retrieve and unload collection bins, and providing support to the MGRC Program Manager.
Essential Job Functions
- Support all daily operational processes of the Mardi Gras Recycling Center
- Manage the daily timekeeping for participants working in the center
- Assist with completing customer purchases at our shop on-site in Metairie
- Assist the Program Manager with monitoring inventory levels and properly restocking the storefront as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
Education and Experience Requirements
- Previous experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred
- Must pass a clear background check
- Must have a valid LA driver's license
