Shipping/Receiving/Shop Hand in Fall River, Massachusetts at Coastal Glazing LLC

About the Role
Coastal Glazing is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join our team as a Shipping/Receiving & Shop Hand. If you thrive in a dynamic, active environment where no two days are exactly the same, this is the role for you.
You will be the backbone of our daily operations managing inventory, preparing our teams for success on the job site, and assisting with fabrication when the delivery schedule allows.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Material & Inventory Management: Receive incoming deliveries, unload trucks, and organize materials efficiently throughout the shop.
• Logistics Support: Load trucks and prep materials for the following day’s installations.
• Deliveries: Safely make job site deliveries and transport materials as needed.
• Equipment Operation: Safely load and offload materials using a forklift.
• Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment; assist with minor vehicle upkeep.
• Fabrication Support: Step in to assist the team with fabrication projects when there are no deliveries scheduled.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Driver's License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for job site deliveries.
• Forklift Certification: Prior forklift experience and a valid forklift license/certification are required.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy materials safely.
• Attitude: A self-motivated, proactive teammate who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or glass/glazing shop environment is a plus.
