This is a high-performance outbound sales role focused on acquiring new small business customers in the payments space. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline from scratch, targeting SMB owners who fit a defined ideal customer profile, and converting cold outreach into long-term merchant relationships. Operating in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, you will run a high-velocity outbound motion using dialers, email, and structured prospecting strategies. The role is designed for strong hunters who thrive on activity, resilience, and direct impact on revenue generation. You will own the full sales cycle—from first contact through closing deals—working with time-sensitive small business decision-makers. This is a fully remote position in the United States with strong earning potential tied directly to performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition through a pure outbound sales motion, owning every stage of the funnel from prospecting to close. Success depends on disciplined execution, high activity levels, and strong conversion skills with SMB customers.
- Build and manage a self-sourced outbound pipeline with no inbound lead support
- Prospect and engage SMB owners using parallel dialers, email outreach, and targeted campaigns
- Run the full sales cycle including qualification, discovery, demos, objection handling, and closing
- Maintain high daily activity metrics including calls, conversations, and pipeline generation
- Ensure accurate CRM management, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene at all times
- Continuously refine messaging and pitch strategy in collaboration with marketing and product teams
This role requires proven outbound sales expertise and a strong track record of selling to small business customers, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or payments environments. The ideal candidate is a true hunter with strong communication skills and the ability to perform in a high-volume sales setting.
- 3–5+ years of outbound sales experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or payments
- Proven success selling to SMB owners and managing self-generated pipeline
- Experience using parallel dialers or high-volume outbound sales tools
- Strong hunter mentality with consistent quota attainment in outbound roles
- Ability to quickly engage SMB decision-makers and communicate value within seconds
- Consultative selling skills with the ability to close efficiently without being overly aggressive
- Strong CRM discipline and ability to adapt quickly to new sales tools and processes
- On-target earnings of $150,000–$160,000+ with uncapped commission potential
- Base salary of approximately $65,000 plus performance-based accelerators
