This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Python Developer based in India.
This role is part of a modern engineering team focused on building scalable, high-performance web applications and backend systems that power end-to-end digital experiences.
You will contribute to designing and developing robust backend services using Python while also collaborating on full-stack solutions across front-end and API layers.
The position involves working closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient technical solutions.
You will play a key role in building reliable APIs, integrating third-party services, and ensuring application performance and security at scale.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and web applications using Python and modern frameworks.
- Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support seamless communication between systems and frontend applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following engineering best practices and design principles.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and API key-based security.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability, performance, and security.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing systems to improve scalability and efficiency.
- Contribute to code reviews and support mentoring of junior developers when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer, with strong Python expertise.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with backend architectures and server-side development.
- Familiarity with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of software design principles, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Nice to have: exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
