This role is focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of software deliveries through structured testing activities across functional and automated layers. You will work closely with agile development teams to validate features before release, identify defects, and support continuous improvement of product quality. The position involves creating and executing test cases, contributing to automation initiatives, and participating actively in agile ceremonies. You will collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA peers to ensure requirements are properly validated and acceptance criteria are met. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality through structured testing practices, defect management, and collaboration with agile teams.

• Plan, design, and execute functional and automated test cases based on defined requirements
• Create detailed test scenarios and ensure proper coverage of business and technical requirements
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects throughout the development lifecycle
• Validate delivered features to ensure alignment with acceptance criteria and quality standards
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Support the creation and maintenance of automated test suites using relevant tools and frameworks
• Contribute to defining acceptance criteria and improving overall quality processes
• Generate test reports and provide insights on software quality and release readiness

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in quality assurance and test automation within agile environments.

• Experience with functional testing and basic test automation practices
• Knowledge of JavaScript and its use in testing or automation contexts
• Familiarity with BDD approaches such as Cucumber or similar frameworks
• Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development workflows
• Understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Exposure to Azure tools and services, including Azure DevOps pipelines (preferred)
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Nice to have: experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright
• Nice to have: knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Nice to have: understanding of CI/CD pipelines and performance testing basics
• Academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields (completed or in progress)
