Job Summary:
Therapist provides Evaluation and Therapeutic Intervention to neurological, orthopedic, musculoskeletal and general medical patient populations in both the acute care and outpatient areas. The Therapist problem solves test and measurements to develop treatment programs using physical agents and education in an environment that is supportive to foster healing. Able to fabricate and modify custom splints.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, licensed in the state of Rhode Island.
- One year minimum acute care experience.
- The physical ability to lift, position and exercise patients.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
