Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect in United States.
This role serves as a senior technical authority responsible for defining and governing the enterprise architecture of a mission-critical defense logistics integration ecosystem supporting the F-35 sustainment enterprise. You will shape how data flows across OEMs, military branches, defense agencies, and analytics platforms, ensuring end-to-end traceability, security, and interoperability. The position operates at the intersection of systems architecture, data strategy, and mission operations, translating complex logistics and sustainment needs into structured, model-based architectural views. You will lead the development of enterprise-wide architecture artifacts and ensure consistency across a highly distributed system-of-systems environment. The role requires close collaboration with government stakeholders, engineering teams, and program leadership in a highly regulated defense context. This is a strategic and hands-on architecture leadership role with direct impact on mission readiness and data-driven decision-making across the F-35 ecosystem.
- Lead the enterprise architecture definition for a large-scale defense logistics and sustainment ecosystem, ensuring alignment across OEM systems, DoD platforms, ERP environments, and analytics infrastructures.
- Own and maintain core architecture artifacts including operational, system, and data flow views, ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment with mission outcomes.
- Develop and manage model-based architecture representations using Cameo and SysML, applying DoDAF/UAF frameworks to structure system-of-systems design.
- Establish and enforce modeling standards, governance rules, naming conventions, and traceability practices to ensure consistency and auditability across all architecture assets.
- Define secure data transport and integration architectures across multiple classification levels, including cross-domain solutions and multi-environment separation strategies.
- Architect interoperability patterns across heterogeneous systems and data formats including legacy, ERP, API-based, and message-driven integrations.
- Design canonical data models, metadata frameworks, and lineage structures to support enterprise analytics, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate architecture reviews, stakeholder workshops, and governance forums to validate alignment and maintain architectural integrity across program stakeholders.
- Support program execution cycles such as PI planning and roadmap development by translating mission requirements into architectural guardrails and sequencing guidance.
- Ensure architecture aligns with secure-by-design principles and defense cybersecurity standards across all system components.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise, solution, or systems architecture within large-scale defense, federal, logistics, ERP, or supply chain environments.
- Proven experience producing architecture artifacts for complex system-of-systems environments, including operational, system, workflow, and interface models.
- Strong proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler or MagicDraw and SysML for model-based systems engineering practices.
- Experience applying DoDAF, UAF, or equivalent architecture frameworks in enterprise or defense contexts.
- Deep understanding of defense logistics and sustainment systems and integration patterns across government platforms.
- Working knowledge of ERP-driven integration ecosystems and data exchange between enterprise and government systems.
- Familiarity with secure architecture principles including NIST 800-53, RMF, Zero Trust, identity management, encryption, and access control models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex architecture concepts to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Active SECRET clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of 122,300 to 211,300 USD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
- Eligibility for performance-based compensation considerations depending on role and contract structure.
- Opportunity to work on high-impact national defense programs with strategic importance.
- Exposure to advanced model-based systems engineering practices and large-scale enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Collaborative environment involving cross-functional teams across defense, engineering, and government stakeholders.
- Career growth opportunities within complex, mission-driven digital transformation programs.
- Work aligned with cutting-edge modernization efforts in defense logistics and data integration.
