Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data engineers and analytics professionals, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Define and execute the data engineering and analytics roadmap aligned with broader business objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Oversee the design, scalability, reliability, and governance of the company’s data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration systems, and BI platforms.
  • Ensure business stakeholders have access to accurate dashboards, reporting, metrics, and analytics that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Build and promote self-service analytics capabilities through trusted datasets and AI-powered natural language interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across product, operations, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, and leadership to translate business needs into impactful data solutions.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for data quality, governance, documentation, lineage, security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Drive improvements in analytics tooling, semantic layers, and reporting capabilities to enhance organizational efficiency and data accessibility.
  • Support compliance initiatives related to auditability, regulatory requirements, data residency, and industry standards such as SOX, SOC2, and GDPR.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the data and analytics organization.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience managing senior data or analytics engineering teams.
  • Strong expertise in modern data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration systems, and semantic modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stack technologies such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives and partner effectively with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Experience developing scalable self-service analytics solutions and AI-powered data access capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, quality standards, privacy controls, auditability, and compliance frameworks including SOC2, SOX, and GDPR.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused insights and recommendations.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth, or technology-focused environments is highly preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $211,000 to $246,000 for U.S.-based candidates, depending on experience and location.
