Job Description
The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg invites applications for a part-time non-tenure stream position teaching elementary French for the 2026-2027 academic year. Elementary French at Pitt-Greensburg is taught in a three-course sequence using a communicative approach that integrates language and culture. In Fall 2026, the candidate will teach Elementary French 2, and in Spring 2027, the candidate will teach Elementary French 3. The courses may be offered in-person or online in a format that has at least some synchronous components.
Required: Native or near-native fluency in French, Master’s degree in French or a related field, a minimum of one semester of teaching experience in French at the college level (or equivalent), and a successful interview.
