We are seeking a Lawn Maintenance Lead to oversee mowing crews and ensure high-quality service for residential and commercial properties. If you have strong leadership skills, hands-on lawn care experience, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.

Compensation & Premium Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience and leadership ability).

Requirements:

What We Are Looking For

  • Lawn Maintenance Expertise: Strong knowledge of mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and seasonal lawn care practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, train, and motivate a crew while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Proficiency with commercial mowers (stand-on, zero-turn), trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
  • Route Management: Ability to manage daily schedules, maintain efficiency, and ensure timely completion of routes.
  • Quality & Safety: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safe equipment operation and job site practices.
  • Communication: Professional communication with clients, team members, and supervisors.
  • Core Requirements: A valid driver’s license and the ability to tow a trailer are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a lawn maintenance crew in completing scheduled mowing routes.
  • Operate commercial mowing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all properties are serviced to company quality standards.
  • Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Perform edging, trimming, blowing, and detailed cleanup work.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
  • Communicate job progress, issues, and customer feedback to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Minimum Required Experience and Education

  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of lawn maintenance experience; leadership experience preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of lawn care equipment, mowing techniques, and seasonal maintenance needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and adapt to changing job conditions.
  • Credentials: A valid driver’s license is required; trailer towing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
