The Spirit of the Position:

The Garage Attendant provides excellent customer service while greeting and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients.

What does a day in the life of a LAZ Garage Attendant look like?

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with parking needs and inquiries.
• Monitor garage activity to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
• Monitor parking facilities for vehicles in violation of parking ordinances by following an assigned route.
• Issue LAZ approved parking citations for vehicles in violation of policies and procedures.
• Screen for parking placards and permits for special privileges within approved areas.
• Provide directions and information about garage services and nearby locations.
• Handle payment processing and validate parking tickets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the garage.
• Address and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly.

What would we like you to bring to the team?

• Strong customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walkfor extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Compensation: This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.
