Senior Communications Coordinator

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Communications Coordinator in Canada.

This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented communications professional who enjoys shaping internal messaging that keeps large, diverse teams informed and engaged. You will contribute to the planning, coordination, and delivery of internal communications across multiple channels, including digital platforms, email campaigns, intranet content, and corporate events. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will help ensure employees across corporate, retail, and operational teams stay connected and aligned. The position combines content coordination, storytelling, and operational execution, with a strong emphasis on clarity, consistency, and timing. You will also play a key role in supporting internal events and engagement initiatives that strengthen company culture. This is a highly collaborative role suited to someone who thrives in structured environments and enjoys working across multiple stakeholders.

Accountabilities
  • Support the internal communications team in planning, creating, and distributing engaging content across multiple channels, including email, intranet, digital signage, presentations, and video formats.
  • Compile, schedule, and distribute internal newsletters, updates, and company-wide communications to large and diverse employee groups.
  • Coordinate and execute internal engagement initiatives that highlight teams, achievements, and organizational culture across corporate, retail, and operational environments.
  • Maintain and manage content calendars, inboxes, reporting dashboards, and communication trackers to ensure smooth workflow execution.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal events, including town halls, hybrid meetings, and in-person corporate gatherings.
  • Monitor communication channel performance and prepare reports to support continuous improvement of internal messaging strategies.
  • Manage intranet and internal communication platforms, ensuring content is up to date, accurate, and well-organized.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of consistent and high-quality communications.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related fast-paced communications environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a business or operational setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting internal events, employee engagement programs, or corporate communications initiatives.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools, content management systems, and reporting dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, or AI-assisted communication tools is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across large, distributed teams.
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) is considered a strong asset.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and interest in emerging communication technologies and AI tools.
