Medical Transportation Driver in Colquitt, Georgia at The Hospital Authority of Miller County

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, assisting with boarding and disembarking, while prioritizing the comfort and well-being of passengers with mobility challenges.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

· High school graduate or equivalent required

· Valid driver’s license

· 0-1 Years Relevant Work Experience

· Active American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

· Must be HIPAA certified within 30 days of hire

· Must be Verida driver certified within 30 days of hire and repeat training twice annually.

· Must complete defensive driving course annually.

· Excellent customer service skills

Preferred:

· Prefer a candidate 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record

· CNA certification preferred but not required
