In this role, you will act as a key technical bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring the successful deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of advanced satellite communication solutions. You will work in a fast-paced, global support environment where technical expertise and customer-facing communication are equally critical. The position involves handling complex network and system-level issues, supporting installations, upgrades, and service interventions across customer infrastructures. You will play a central role in ensuring service reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to product improvements and lifecycle enhancements based on real-world customer feedback. This is a high-impact role that combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with long-term customer success ownership.
- Provide direct remote and onsite technical support to customers, ensuring timely resolution of complex issues
- Troubleshoot, document, and manage customer technical incidents while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
- Lead and support installations, system upgrades, acceptance testing, and configuration changes
- Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, product, and support teams
- Contribute to product lifecycle improvements by sharing field insights and customer feedback
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base materials
- Support training activities for junior engineers and contribute to continuous team development
- Participate in 24/7 rotating support coverage and handle escalations in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong understanding of IP networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, OSI model, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Linux CLI and scripting (Bash, Python or similar)
- Knowledge of networking tools such as Wireshark and router/switch configuration (CCNA level or equivalent)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in complex distributed systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask, prioritize incidents, and perform in a fast-paced support environment
- Experience with satellite communications, RF systems, or ITIL processes is a strong plus
