Regulatory Business Analyst - Regulatory Technology (Contract)

This role sits at the intersection of regulatory operations and technology, supporting the evolution of enterprise regulatory systems within a global environment. You will play a key part in enhancing and optimizing Veeva Vault RIM capabilities, ensuring regulatory data is accurate, structured, and aligned with industry standards. Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams, you will translate complex regulatory needs into scalable system solutions. The position involves hands-on work across requirements gathering, system configuration support, testing, and process improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen regulatory workflows and drive operational efficiency. This is a highly impactful role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys shaping digital transformation in regulatory affairs.

Accountabilities:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional system enhancements for Veeva Vault RIM and related regulatory systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Vault RIM, supporting data model understanding, configuration, and optimization of regulatory processes and structures.
  • Support system integrations across the Veeva ecosystem, including Quality, Clinical, and PromoMats platforms.
  • Contribute to data remediation and governance efforts using regulatory standards such as IDMP/PMS to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with system validation activities, including UAT planning, execution, and test script review in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to support KPI tracking, regulatory insights, and decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, change management, and user adoption through training materials, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in regulatory operations, regulatory technology, or business analysis.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Veeva Vault RIM, including configuration, data structures, and regulatory workflows.
  • Knowledge of regulatory data standards such as IDMP/PMS and their application in enterprise systems.
  • Experience supporting system integrations within regulatory platforms, preferably across the Veeva suite.
  • Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience with validation processes, UAT coordination, and test script development/review.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with eCTD publishing processes (including eCTD 4.0 exposure preferred).
  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives, automation, or AI-enabled regulatory tools is a plus.
