This role is a senior technical leadership position focused on designing and delivering enterprise-grade Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ. You will act as a key architect responsible for shaping scalable, secure, and compliant identity ecosystems for complex enterprise environments. The position involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to translate security and governance needs into robust IAM architectures. You will lead end-to-end solution design, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards. This is a highly impactful role where you will guide IAM transformation initiatives across diverse systems and industries. You will also mentor engineering teams and establish reusable architecture frameworks that drive consistency and efficiency. The environment is fast-paced, client-facing, and focused on delivering high-value identity security outcomes.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions while acting as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise clients.

Define and design end-to-end IAM/IGA architectures aligned with business, security, and compliance requirements
Lead identity lifecycle management design, including provisioning, access requests, certifications, RBAC, and governance workflows
Drive enterprise application onboarding across cloud, legacy, and custom systems
Architect and implement integrations with systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, LDAP, and others
Design scalable connector strategies using OOTB, custom, API-based, and disconnected approaches
Provide technical leadership for SailPoint customizations including workflows, rules, and Java-based development
Conduct architecture reviews, workshops, and technical discussions with stakeholders and clients
Support performance optimization, troubleshooting, and solution refinement activities
Develop architecture documentation, deployment strategies, and technical design artifacts
Mentor engineering teams and promote IAM best practices and reusable frameworks

Requirements:

This position requires deep expertise in IAM architecture and hands-on experience delivering SailPoint IdentityIQ-based solutions in enterprise environments.

8+ years of experience in IAM, Identity Governance, or enterprise security architecture
5+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)
Strong expertise in IAM concepts including lifecycle management, RBAC, provisioning, and certifications
Proven experience in enterprise application onboarding and system integrations
Strong development skills in Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs, and SCIM
Experience integrating IAM platforms with AD, Azure AD, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, and similar systems
Solid understanding of security governance, compliance, and audit requirements
Experience working across cloud and hybrid IAM environments
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, databases, and application/web servers
Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading technical teams and client-facing engagements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, STEM, or related field preferred
English proficiency required
Nice to have: SailPoint certifications, cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP), Zero Trust knowledge, DevOps/CI-CD experience, IAM migration experience
