Software Quality Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Quality Analyst based in the United States.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability, usability, and performance of digital products used by a global customer base. You will be responsible for validating software functionality across multiple features and releases, working closely with development and business teams to ensure requirements are fully met. The position involves hands-on test planning, execution, and defect management within fast-paced delivery cycles. You will contribute to improving product quality by identifying risks early, analyzing test results, and ensuring issues are tracked through resolution. The environment is collaborative and Agile-driven, with strong emphasis on communication and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to directly influence the quality of products used by travelers and international customers worldwide.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for software features and releases.
  • Coordinate and support testing activities across assigned projects and delivery cycles.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, risks, and issues through resolution.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to development and business teams.
  • Review requirements and technical designs to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and test considerations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and testing coverage.
  • Support daily test execution priorities and ensure delivery timelines are met.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Recommend enhancements to testing methodologies, tools, and quality practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test activities, results, and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
  • Experience designing and executing manual test cases independently.
  • Ability to read and interpret HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and test verification.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to automated testing tools is a plus.
