This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a NAP Optimization & Consistency Associate - (Ops) based in the United States.

This role focuses on maintaining and improving the accuracy of online business information across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone) data that directly impacts local search visibility and digital trust. You will work in a fully remote, structured operations environment where precision, research, and communication are essential. The position involves analyzing citation data, identifying inconsistencies, and coordinating updates across directories and listing platforms. You will also interact with external partners and internal teams to resolve verification and listing issues efficiently. This is a detail-oriented role with measurable impact on client online presence and SEO performance. It is well-suited for someone who enjoys investigative work, structured processes, and improving digital data quality at scale.

Accountabilities:

Responsible for ensuring accurate, consistent, and up-to-date business listings across digital platforms while supporting operational workflows that improve local SEO performance.

  • Audit, identify, and manage online business listings to ensure accurate NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency
  • Analyze citation data and calculate NAP consistency scores, tracking improvements over time
  • Update and correct discrepancies across directories and third-party listing platforms
  • Communicate with external directory administrators to request, follow up, and confirm listing changes
  • Collaborate with internal client servicing teams to obtain verification codes, PINs, and required documentation
  • Maintain detailed reports, documentation, and tracking sheets using structured tools
  • Support client communications by explaining findings, progress, and corrective actions when needed
  • Participate in virtual meetings (e.g., Zoom) to provide updates and clarify operational work
Requirements:

This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and comfort working with digital tools in a remote, structured environment.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) to clearly explain updates and findings
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to verify and validate online data
  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy and familiarity with digital communication tools (Zoom, Skype, etc.)
  • Experience using Google Docs and Google Sheets for documentation, tracking, and reporting
  • Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, particularly local SEO and NAP consistency principles
  • Experience with ticketing or task management systems for tracking workflows and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong time management skills
  • Must have a dedicated work setup including a laptop/desktop, stable internet, headset, and required software
  • Willingness to work a structured schedule (40 hours/week) with defined overlap hours in the evening window (Sri Lanka time)
  • Must not be engaged in concurrent employment during the contract period
