Job Title: IT Clerk

Job Summary
The IT Clerk will provide administrative support to the IT department by answering calls, maintaining records, assisting with troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a basic understanding of IT systems, and be capable of managing day-to-day IT tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees, assisting with basic IT problems (e.g., computer startup issues, password resets, software installation).
- Assist with account creations for multiple IT systems
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve more complex technical issues.
- Assist with setting up workstations, including configuring computers and peripherals.
- Assist with IT documentation, including creating and maintaining documentation for hardware and software.
- Process and track IT service requests, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Organize and schedule IT department meetings, trainings, and events.
- Support the installation and configuration of software.
- Help troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Assist the IT team with ongoing projects, testing new systems, and implementing updates.
- Help prepare materials for training sessions or user guides for internal employees.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of IT data and company information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Actively engage in quality improvement activities.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with basic IT hardware and software troubleshooting.
Preferred Requirements
- Associate’s degree in information technology or in related field from an accredited educational institution.
- Experience working with an EMR. EPIC experience is preferred

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling IT records and documentation.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate with different departments.
Physical Requirements Perceive the nature of sounds by the ear, express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word, perceive characteristics of objects through the eyes, extend arms and hands in any direction, seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hands, pick, pinch, or otherwise work with fingers, perceive such attributes of objects or materials as size, shape, temperature, or texture; and stoop, kneel crouch, and crawl. Must be able to lift 25 pounds maximum with frequent lifting, carrying pushing, and pulling of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Continuous walking and standing. Must be able to identify, match, and distinguish colors.
