Facility Maintenance Specialist in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Transport Management Services

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for all repairs related to building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct minor repairs on building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Install and set up new equipment and machinery.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departmental staff regarding facility operations and maintenance issues.
• Document all installation, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of building systems.
• Knowledge of construction practices in Electrical, carpentry and plumbing trades.

Education/Experience

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of building maintenance experience.

Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.

• Expected Pay Range: $21.60-$24.40
• Full Pay Range: $21.60-$33.40
• Pay Grade: 7
