This is a client-facing role where impact is measured by the ability to drive secure, efficient, and future-ready healthcare platforms.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead the design, governance, and delivery of cloud architectures tailored to healthcare environments, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and regulatory needs:

  • Lead modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, hybrid architectures, high availability design, and disaster recovery planning aligned to RTO/RPO objectives
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation to ensure repeatable and scalable deployments
  • Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency and performance using FinOps principles while maintaining security and compliance standards
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, guiding architecture decisions and supporting digital transformation initiatives
  • Mentor technical teams, provide architectural oversight, and contribute to proposal development, solution design, and client presentations
Requirements

This role requires strong cloud architecture expertise combined with healthcare domain knowledge and consulting experience:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Azure and/or AWS cloud solutions in healthcare or regulated environments
  • Proven experience architecting secure systems for sensitive healthcare data, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR, and regulatory frameworks including HIPAA and HITRUST
  • Hands-on experience with core cloud services (e.g., Azure VMs, AKS, Entra ID, AWS EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps practices using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, ARM, or CloudFormation
  • Consulting or client-facing experience, including engagement with executive and senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
  • Ability to lead multiple architecture initiatives independently in fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Cloud certifications (Azure or AWS Solutions Architect) and EHR platform experience are strong advantages
