About the Role
Happy To Help Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our team serving clients throughout American Falls, Aberdeen, Rockland, and surrounding communities.
As a caregiver, you'll provide non-medical support that helps seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes. What You'll DoDepending on the client's needs and individualized care plan, responsibilities may include:
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs
• Performing light housekeeping tasks including laundry, dishes, changing linens, and maintaining a clean living environment
• Providing medication reminders according to the care plan (no handling or administering medications)
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, walking, and repositioning
• Providing transportation assistance for appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and approved outings
• Providing respite care support for family caregivers
• Following individualized care plans and documenting services provided appropriately
• Communicating changes in client needs or concerns to the office promptly
• Supporting each client's independence, routines, preferences, and overall well-being
You will help create a safe, respectful, and positive experience for every client while treating their home, privacy, and dignity with the utmost respect.
QualificationsWe're looking for caregivers who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred:
• Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, assisted living, or customer service experience
• CNA certification is a plus but not required
No prior caregiving experience is necessary. We value compassion, professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
