Product Specialist, STEM

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Specialist, STEM based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of education, product expertise, and sales enablement, supporting the successful adoption and positioning of innovative STEM learning solutions across K–12 districts. You will partner closely with sales teams and educators to bring curriculum offerings to life during pilots, reviews, and decision-making phases. Acting as both a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, you will help demonstrate the value of STEM programs through engaging presentations, trainings, and tailored learning experiences. The role is highly collaborative, combining classroom expertise with strategic communication to influence district-level adoption decisions. You will also contribute to the development of sales materials and customer-facing workshops that strengthen product positioning. This is a remote role suited for an educator-turned-product expert who thrives in dynamic, mission-driven environments focused on improving student outcomes.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will support the sales organization by providing STEM subject matter expertise and helping guide districts through the evaluation and adoption process. You will deliver training sessions, support pilot implementations, and develop engaging presentations and materials that clearly communicate the value of STEM solutions. You will also collaborate with internal teams to strengthen product messaging and ensure consistent, high-quality customer engagement throughout the sales cycle.

  • Partner with sales teams to support and advance STEM product sales opportunities
  • Provide subject matter expertise during district curriculum reviews, pilot programs, and adoption phases
  • Deliver remote trainings, workshops, and presentations for educators, administrators, and committees
  • Support pilot implementations and guide stakeholders through evaluation processes and decision-making stages
  • Develop and refine customer-facing materials that effectively position STEM solutions
  • Conduct product training and enablement sessions for internal sales teams
  • Maintain strong awareness of K–8 STEM education trends and classroom needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between product messaging and customer expectations
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in K–12 education with hands-on STEM teaching experience and the ability to translate classroom knowledge into compelling product narratives. You should be confident in presenting, training, and engaging diverse audiences while working closely with sales and product teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1–3 years of experience in K–12 education, with a focus on STEM instruction (K–8 preferred)
  • Classroom teaching experience in STEM subjects strongly required
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, including experience delivering professional development or workshops
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to educators and decision-makers
  • Experience supporting or participating in curriculum adoption or instructional review processes is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across sales, product, and education teams
  • Familiarity with remote presentation tools and virtual training environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus
  • Ability to travel 10–20% as needed
