Job Title: AFMS3 3.0 Multiple Labor Categories - Incumbent Application

Overview: Air Force Modeling & Simulation Support Services 3.0 (AFMS 3.0) Task Order Transition. These positions support the AFMS3 3.0 program through the delivery of high-quality technical and professional services aligned with Department of Defense standards, mission requirements, and customer objectives. Successful candidates will join a collaborative team dedicated to advancing next-generation modeling and simulation capabilities that strengthen national defense and operational readiness.

Multiple Labor Categories
The AFMS 3.0 Task Order includes 25 distinct labor categories organized into five functional series. Each labor category is structured across four experience levels:
- Level I – Entry-Level
- Level II – Intermediate
- Level III – Senior
- Level IV – Master / Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Lateral Placement of Incumbents
This announcement is intended to facilitate the alignment of current incumbents to the AFMS3 3.0 Task Order Transition. All incumbents selected through this process will be placed on a lateral basis.
A lateral placement means that:
- Incumbents will be transitioned into the AFMS3 3.0 Task Order labor category and level that best aligns with their qualifications, experience, and contract requirements.
- The labor category assignment is for contract alignment and workforce management purposes and does not constitute a promotion.
- Participation in this process does not guarantee a change in compensation, supervisory responsibilities, job title, or organizational status.
- Incumbents will continue to support contract requirements in positions consistent with their skills, experience, and assigned labor category.
