Waterford is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Dietary Aide to join our team. Dietary Aides play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by serving meals, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
No experience? No problem! We will train the right person. This is a great opportunity for students, those looking for part-time work, or anyone who enjoys helping others.
Responsibilities- Serve meals and beverages to residents in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist with meal preparation and food portioning.
- Set up and clean dining rooms before and after meals.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Stock supplies and assist with kitchen organization.
- Interact positively with residents and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with special events, holiday meals, and resident celebrations as needed.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check (if age applicable).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Food service experience preferred but not required.
