Description
Position: Marketing Coordinator
Location: York, PA
Travel: Occasional travel to job sites, as needed
Pay: $21.00/hr- $28.00/hr (Based on experience)
We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work with the Marketing Department and relevant team members to support marketing initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate content for company projects, award submissions and related marketing projects.
Work will need to be completed with the high-quality standards of the company while consistently adhering to the Wagman brand.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and will have a strong interest in content marketing, graphic design and layout ability to work independently and collaboratively and a commitment to deadlines.
This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction. This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
Wagman is a multi-faceted construction firm with operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Founded in 1902, Wagman is a fourth-generation family-owned company with offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Wagman Heavy Civil Inc. has grown to become a nationally recognized leader within the industry. Wagman Heavy Civil Inc’s core competencies include design-build, infrastructure, marine construction, modified concrete, grooving and grinding and geotechnical construction services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing Deliverables & Systems
• Conducts interviews with key staff to write creative project narratives for use in project profiles and other materials during the lifecycle of the project.
• Develops and maintains staff resumes and project profiles.
• Develops marketing descriptions and text for use in marketing materials.
• Maintains project data in the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
• Coordinates project images and schedules photography of projects and people.
• Coordinates project photos and safety approvals for marketing purposes and maintains organization.
Communications & Content Marketing
• Coordinates photos, content and quotes for draft press releases.
• Inventories and prepares content updates and new content for website pages.
• Supports social media content strategy for Wagman
• Coordinates content, including writing and editing articles for newsletters, email updates and other communications.
• Coordinates new hire onboarding activities – coordinating internal/ professional photos, business cards, welcome swag.
• Coordinates relevant updates on the Company Intranet (employee photos, announcements, events and news)
• Maintains and updates internal messaging system for offices.
Industry Associations & Events
• Supports the coordination of Human Resources needs for hiring fairs and related promotions.
• Maintains inventory of marketing items.
• Coordinates marketing events including registrations to events, meetings, speaking engagements, seminars, trade shows and exhibits; in coordination with marketing events calendar and matrix
• Assists with marketing related activities and promotions
• Coordinates presentations as required.
• Attends client-related functions and activities; participates in networking and professional associations as required.
• Assists in client-related event planning such as seminars, groundbreakings, ribbon-cuttings, dinners and special events.
Other Responsibilities
• Supports company events and employee relations efforts.
• Coordinates internal and external surveys.
• Provides office administrative support as needed.
Education:
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
Experience:
• Experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop preferred.
• Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects from concept to completion.
Physical Requirements:
• Able to sit for extended periods while working at a computer performing routine office tasks.
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying items
• Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.
• Must have acceptable corrected vision and hearing.
• Ability to travel to project sites occasionally.
