Position Summary


The Inspector ensures that materials and finished products meet strict quality requirements. In this role, you will inspect mechanical and material characteristics, verify documentation, and support continuous improvement throughout the production process. Your work directly contributes to Agile’s mission of delivering reliable propulsion systems for critical space missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in process work, and final products using calibrated metrology tools and gauges
  • Record inspection results with accuracy and clarity
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and related documentation
  • Issue nonconformances for parts that fail to meet print or specification requirements
  • Support cross functional teams in problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Review End Item Data Packs and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering to develop and update inspection instructions and SOPs
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 and other applicable quality standards
  • Adapt to scheduling needs to support manufacturing operations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of relevant inspection or manufacturing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities with limited supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Proficient in computer use; familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable with evolving processes, new technology, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a quality or inspection role
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (may be required)
  • Experience with metrology equipment and measurement techniques
  • Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T
  • Experience inspecting in a dynamic factory or aerospace environment
  • Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality systems
  • Knowledge of calibration standards such as ANSI Z540 or ISO 17025
  • Experience generating AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking, sitting, and standing
  • Repetitive hand, arm, and finger motions; strong manual dexterity
  • Visual abilities for close inspection, distance viewing, depth perception, and color differentiation
  • Ability to hear varying tones and volumes
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 20 lbs.

Compensation: $23.00 - 31.00 Hourly
