The Revenue Cycle Engagement Manager Epic Beaker Charging will lead and support strategic initiatives focused on Epic implementations, revenue cycle optimization, and operational transformation. The role requires strong collaboration across technical, clinical, operational, and executive teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Guide stakeholders through Epic implementation phases, including project planning, dependencies, milestones, decision points, and workflow considerations.
- Provide expertise on Epic Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), and Beaker implementations, including their impact on existing revenue cycle operations.
- Analyze and communicate how technical decisions influence revenue cycle performance, patient access workflows, and operational outcomes.
- Support discussions around future-state workflows, best practices, operational risks, and process improvements.
- Facilitate meetings with revenue cycle leaders, IT teams, laboratory stakeholders, and executive sponsors to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Manage project documentation, action tracking, follow-ups, and accountability across multiple workstreams.
- Identify cross-functional impacts across Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Beaker, and related Epic applications.
- Translate between technical and business stakeholders to maintain alignment on objectives, workflows, and implementation priorities.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Epic implementations, healthcare revenue cycle processes, and cross-functional project leadership. This position requires strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in complex healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of the Epic implementation lifecycle, including phases, dependencies, milestones, and governance processes.
- Deep knowledge of Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Professional Billing (PB), with the ability to understand Beaker implementation impacts within a live Epic revenue cycle environment.
- Experience discussing Epic build, workflows, and operational processes while connecting technical decisions to business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of Epic Patient Access applications such as Cadence, Prelude, and Grand Central, including their relationship with registration and scheduling workflows.
- Strong revenue cycle expertise with the ability to identify operational challenges, evaluate risks, and recommend practical solutions.
- Proven project management skills with experience managing documentation, deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Executive presence and confidence facilitating discussions with senior operational, IT, and business leaders.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ability to work independently, proactively manage priorities, and escalate risks appropriately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and operational perspectives across diverse teams.
- Competitive hourly compensation range of $90–$110, based on skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
