What You'll Do

As a TIG/MIG Welder, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality welded components that meet our customers' expectations for precision, appearance, and performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on mild steel, stainless steel (304 & 439), and aluminum
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
  • Fit and weld assemblies according to specifications
  • Plan work sequences and determine tooling and material requirements
  • Prepare materials and surfaces for welding
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications
  • Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools, including grinders, drills, and pneumatic tools
  • Monitor welding equipment and consumables to maintain efficient production
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

  • Minimum of two years of TIG and MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
  • Strong blueprint reading and print interpretation skills
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds with excellent attention to detail
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Excellent attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to successfully complete an in-house weld test
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • AWS Welding Certification
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
Physical Requirements

This position requires working in a manufacturing environment and includes:

  • Standing for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds
  • Repetitive bending, reaching, and material handling
  • Safe operation of welding and fabrication equipment while maintaining production and quality standards
