MECHANICAL ENGINEER I
Pennsauken, NJ | Full-Time
Medical Manufacturing Technologies (MMT) is a globally recognized, vertically integrated provider of automated, process-driven medical device manufacturing solutions. Our Pennsauken team designs and builds the precision grinding and guidewire manufacturing equipment our customers depend on. As a Mechanical Engineer I, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on real design, testing, and continuous improvement projects from day one - gaining hands-on exposure to the precision grinding and machining technologies that power our equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop new designs and documentation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2009 and GD&T standards, using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM
- Support manufacturing efforts of machinery and tooling
- Provide technical support to field service technicians and customers as needed
- Create and maintain bills of material (BOM) in the ERP system
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior engineers, production, and quality to bring solutions from concept to the shop floor
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Hands-on design and engineering experience preferred (approximately 1-5 years); machine tool experience is a plus
- SolidWorks experience required; CSWP or CSWE certification preferred
- Experience with ASME Y14.5-2009 (or later) and GD&T principles
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 preferred; experience with advanced materials a plus
- Strong interdisciplinary communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The salary range for this role is $77,092 - $96,365 annually, based on experience and qualifications. New Jersey law requires this range to be disclosed for all NJ postings.
