The Principal Product Manager will lead the strategy, development, and evolution of AI-powered cybersecurity validation platforms, ensuring products deliver meaningful value to technical teams, enterprise customers, and security leaders. The role involves:
- Defining and owning the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI platform and cyber validation capabilities.
- Driving the evolution of realistic cybersecurity environments that support AI-native security products, autonomous cyber agents, and advanced cyber operations.
- Translating customer insights, market trends, technical opportunities, and research findings into actionable product strategies.
- Partnering with engineering, UX, cybersecurity experts, customer teams, and executive stakeholders to align priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
- Leading cross-functional initiatives by facilitating decision-making, resolving complex trade-offs, and ensuring teams execute against a unified product vision.
- Designing platform capabilities across areas such as attack simulation, adversary behavior modeling, enterprise environments, cloud services, SaaS ecosystems, automation, and AI-assisted environment generation.
- Defining functional and non-functional requirements that enable engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable products.
- Collaborating with cybersecurity companies, enterprise security teams, government organizations, and industry partners to understand evolving needs and define future solutions.
- Evaluating product investments based on customer value, technical feasibility, business impact, and long-term strategic differentiation.
- Representing product strategy with customers, analysts, and industry stakeholders.
- Driving continuous improvement by incorporating feedback, market intelligence, and emerging technologies into the product roadmap.
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced product leader with strong technical expertise and a background in cybersecurity, AI platforms, infrastructure, or complex enterprise technology products. Candidates should bring:
- 8+ years of experience in product management, technical product leadership, or equivalent experience delivering complex technology products.
- Proven experience managing cybersecurity products, AI/ML platforms, infrastructure platforms, developer platforms, simulation technologies, cloud platforms, or enterprise technical solutions.
- Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate with senior engineering leaders on architecture, APIs, integrations, scalability, reliability, security, and implementation decisions.
- Experience defining product requirements, success metrics, customer outcomes, and strategic roadmaps for complex systems.
- Strong product judgment with the ability to connect technical investments to customer value, market opportunities, and business objectives.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including threat actors, adversary behavior, attack simulation, threat emulation, security operations, detection, response, and controls validation.
- Experience working with enterprise customers and understanding complex B2B purchasing processes and stakeholder requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex AI, cybersecurity, and platform concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, and comfort operating in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, autonomous agents, LLM applications, model evaluation, AI development workflows, or data pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, containers, virtualization, distributed systems, APIs, automation, or developer platforms.
- Experience with cyber ranges, security operations, threat emulation, incident response, red team/blue team workflows, or security validation.
- Knowledge of security technologies and frameworks such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, MITRE ATT&CK, or threat intelligence.
- Experience building products used by both technical operators and executive decision-makers.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GCIH, PMP, or equivalent professional experience.
