Project Manage

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager based in Canada.

This is a contract opportunity for a project management professional responsible for guiding projects from planning through successful delivery.
You will coordinate timelines, tasks, resources, and stakeholders to keep initiatives aligned with business objectives.
The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues before they impact delivery.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, provide clear progress updates, and maintain visibility across project activities.
Experience with Agile methodologies will help you manage changing priorities and support efficient team collaboration.
The position also requires confidence managing multiple projects while maintaining quality, scope, and deadlines.
It is well suited to a proactive project leader who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments and takes ownership of results.

Accountabilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage project timelines, tasks, milestones, and resources from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate closely with project teams, stakeholders, and other contributors to maintain alignment on objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or obstacles, and take timely action to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
  • Ensure project goals, quality standards, scope, and deadlines are consistently achieved.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining clear visibility into status and dependencies.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and ensure stakeholders receive accurate and timely project information.
  • Provide regular project status updates, reports, and progress summaries to relevant stakeholders.
  • Apply Agile project management practices, including Scrum and Kanban, to support efficient planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Use project management and collaboration tools to organize workflows, track deliverables, and maintain project documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project processes, team coordination, and overall delivery efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Previous experience managing projects from planning through delivery, ideally in a cross-functional or technology-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
  • Practical experience using JIRA, Confluence, or comparable project management and collaboration platforms.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing deadlines, priorities, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to provide clear, concise, and professional project updates and reports.
  • Proactive, accountable, and adaptable approach to project delivery.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements and competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships across teams.
