Occupational Therapist (PRN) in Vancouver, Washington at Fort Vancouver of Cascadia LLC

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to help patients regain their independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their needs and develop treatment plans

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals

- Provide therapy to patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities, such as dressing, grooming, and eating

- Teach patients new skills and techniques to help them regain their independence

- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy practices and techniques

- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
