Legend Seeds is looking for a District Sales Manager

You will be instrumental in promoting our seeds and crop enhancement products while utilizing our Hitterdal site to deliver full-service support. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers/farmers and agricultural clients in the Hitterdal area

- Promote and sell our full lineup of seed and crop enhancement products

- Provide expert advice on crop management and agronomy solutions

- Fully utilize the Hitterdal site to deliver comprehensive service and support to customers

- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company’s market share

- Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and competitor activities

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven sales experience, preferably in agriculture or related industries

- Strong agronomy background with knowledge of crop production and management

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record

- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset

- Ability to travel within the Hitterdal area as needed

Physical Demands

-The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Standing and lifting is required. This would require bending and the ability to lift to 60 pounds as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

-This is a full-time position, typical hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional earlier start times, evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

-70% travel is expected for this position. During peak times 90% travel is required.
