Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
Position Summary
At THP, we are committed to providing safe, well-maintained environments that support our mission and those we serve. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance across multiple THP properties. This role requires a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in quality work, follows through on commitments, and contributes positively to the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks, including HVAC filter changes and equipment inspections.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair work.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify effective solutions.
- Maintain facility grounds, including seasonal property upkeep and snow removal as needed.
- Inspect buildings and equipment to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Submit parts and supply requests as needed.
- Accurately complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and organizational policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing needs.
