Radiology Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.

- Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound machines to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

- Position patients accurately to capture the necessary images while minimizing radiation exposure.

- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

- Review and evaluate images for clarity and accuracy, and make adjustments as needed.

- Document patient information, procedures performed, and technical details in medical records.

- Follow all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to safeguard patients and staff.

- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).

- Proven experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment.

- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic procedures.

- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

- Knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Physical stamina to position patients and handle equipment.
