Job Summary
Are you a natural problem-solver who loves to care for people by creating a welcoming, safe, and smooth-running environment? We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to steward our physical workspace and K-12 school home. In this role, you will look after the daily upkeep of our building while managing our modest monthly budget. The ideal candidate sees building management not just as a checklist, but as a ministry of hospitality and stewardship—ensuring our space is always ready to serve our staff, parents, students, and community.
What We Are Looking For
· Heart for Service: A warm, helpful attitude with a deep alignment with our faith-based values and community mission.
· Experience: 2+ years of experience helping out in an office, church facility, school campus, or property management role.
· Money Management: Basic comfort tracking a modest budget, working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and staying within spending boundaries.
· Great Communicator: A friendly demeanor, clear communication style, and the ability to solve problems with grace and patience.
· Hands-on Attitude: Ready to move light furniture for events, handle small building hiccups, and lift up to 45-50 lbs. when needed.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
· Stewardship & Expense Tracking: Keep a close, careful eye on our modest office and building expenses. Help us use our resources wisely and honorably.
· Spending & Approvals: Manage routine purchases easily. Work hand-in-hand with leadership by routing larger, non-routine expenses over our designated limit for approval.
· Hospitality & Maintenance: Coordinate routine cleaning, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Keep our rooms warm, welcoming, and fully functional for everyone who steps through our doors.
· Vendor Friendships: Serve as our friendly main point of contact for local contractors, repair techs, and supply vendors. Ensure we receive fair pricing and honest service.
· Supply Care: Keep our offices, kitchens, and classrooms well-stocked with the supplies needed for daily work and community events.
· Facility Grounds: Maintain outside grounds and landscaping to its full beauty for all who step on our campus to witness exceptional stewardship.
· Safety & Care: Walk the building regularly to make sure everything is safe, clean, and fully compliant with local safety codes so our community stays protected.
