We’re looking for dependable, motivated team members who are ready to take the next step in their restaurant career.

As a Shift Leader, you are a working leader responsible for helping run the restaurant during your shift. You will continue performing all of the responsibilities of a Restaurant Team Member while taking on additional responsibility for the team, guest experience, food quality, and overall operation of the restaurant.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will lead from the floor—not from the office.

$15–$16 per hour

Shift Leaders are eligible to participate in the restaurant's tip pool according to company policy.

Because Shift Leaders are working members of the restaurant team, they are also expected to participate in the delivery rotation and make customer deliveries using their own reliable vehicle.

When making deliveries, Shift Leaders may receive:

• Flat rate fee per delivery taken

• Delivery tips received from customers

Delivery mileage reimbursement and delivery tips are paid out in cash at the end of the shift according to company procedures.

Your share of the restaurant's tip pool is paid through payroll and included on your regular paycheck.

Shift Leaders are expected to be able to perform all Restaurant Team Member functions, including making customer deliveries.

You must have:

• A valid driver's license

• A reliable personal vehicle

• Current automobile insurance that meets company requirements

• An acceptable driving record

• The ability and willingness to make customer deliveries

When the restaurant needs you inside, you're inside. When a delivery is ready, you're ready to go.

• Make pizzas and prepare menu items according to Marco’s standards

• Take orders and answer phones

• Help guests and provide excellent customer service

• Make customer deliveries when assigned

• Keep the restaurant clean and organized

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

• Complete opening and closing responsibilities

• Perform all Restaurant Team Member duties as needed

You will never ask your team to do something you aren't willing to do yourself.

• Direct Team Members during the shift

• Assign positions and responsibilities

• Help deploy the team based on business needs

• Manage the delivery rotation

• Coach Team Members on service, quality, and productivity

• Provide feedback and encouragement

• Help train new Restaurant Team Members

• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment

• Hold Team Members accountable to company standards

• Keep the restaurant operating smoothly and efficiently

• Monitor ticket times and order accuracy

• Maintain food quality and presentation

• Monitor cleanliness and restaurant appearance

• Manage customer concerns and resolve problems professionally

• Follow cash-handling procedures

• Monitor inventory and product levels

• Communicate operational issues to management

• Follow company procedures and standards

• Complete required shift paperwork and tasks

Previous leadership or restaurant experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right Restaurant Team Member who demonstrates leadership potential.
