The Sales Representative serves as a key point of contact for contractors, municipalities, engineers, and utility companies by providing industry expertise, product knowledge, and exceptional customer service throughout the state of Florida.

This role is responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and driving profitable sales growth throughout the assigned territory.

• Generate new customer accounts and expand existing relationships

• Build trusted relationships with customers and industry partners
• Conduct regular customer meetings and jobsite visits
• Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries and support
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

• Maintain knowledge of waterworks products and industry trends
• Educate customers on product applications and solutions
• Provide technical support and recommendations as needed
• Stay informed on municipal and construction market activity

• Work closely with operations, purchasing, estimating, and customer service teams
• Coordinate project timelines and delivery expectations
• Support branch and company initiatives
• Communicate customer feedback and opportunities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of sales experience
• Proven ability to prospect and generate new business
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to effectively manage time and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

• Waterworks, utilities, infrastructure, or construction industry experience
• Knowledge of underground utility products and applications
• Existing relationships within municipal, contractor, and engineering communities
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience with project bidding and estimating
