Job Description
Senior Sales Development Representative - Remote US
| The Senior Sales Development Representative (Sr. SDR) is an experienced outbound contributor who owns pipeline creation and opportunity qualification within an assigned vertical segment, serving as the SDR vertical partner to aligned Sales Executives. The role runs personalized, multi-stakeholder, multi-channel outreach into target accounts, builds and refines the segment-level playbook, and creates qualified opportunities (not just meetings) before SE handoff. Compensation is tied to Meetings Held and Opportunities Created. |
In this role, you will
Pipeline Creation: Building and Refining the Playbook
• Build and execute personalized, multi-stakeholder, multi-channel outreach into target accounts within an assigned vertical segment, engaging C-suite and senior-level prospects across the buying committee.
• Design and test new cadences, messaging, and outreach approaches; iterate based on what's converting.
• Develop segment-specific point of view in outreach. Translate ReSource Pro's value proposition into language and insight that resonates with insurance decision-makers in the vertical.
• Source net-new accounts not currently in Salesforce through research, referrals, intent signals, and prospecting.
• Maintain consistent activity volume across phone, email, and LinkedIn channels at the daily and weekly floors set by Revenue Operations.
Account Strategy and Multi-Threading
• Multi-thread target accounts. Identify and engage at minimum 3 stakeholders per account across decision-maker, influencer, and operational roles.
• Build account maps documenting the buying committee, current vendor relationships, and known initiatives; use them to time and shape outreach
• Serve as the SDR vertical partner to aligned Sales Executives, contributing to account strategy and stakeholder mapping rather than executing on a list.
• Re-engage stalled accounts using new insight, new contacts, or new triggers. Not the same message six weeks later.
Opportunity Qualification and SE Partnership
• Create, qualify, and document opportunities in Salesforce before SE handoff. Not just book meetings.
• Apply ReSource Pro's approved sales methodology on every prospect interaction.
• Hand off qualified opportunities to aligned Sales Executives with full context (pain identified, stakeholders mapped, next step defined) within the approved SLAs.
• Drive activity-to-meeting and meeting-hold-to-opportunity-created conversion at or above the benchmarks set by Revenue Operations annually.
• Bring point of view to pipeline reviews, not just status updates.
Vertical Knowledge, Industry Partnership, and Social Selling
• Build deep working knowledge of ReSource Pro's solutions relevant to the assigned segment.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive positioning, and bring that POV into outreach.
• Partner with Industry Marketing experts and the Events team on tradeshow targeting within the assigned segment. Contribute account-level insight to event meeting strategy and drive personalized event-related outreach with segment-specific point of view.
• Participate in all relevant vertical enablement sessions.
• Maintain an active LinkedIn presence with point-of-view content relevant to the assigned segment. Approved themes are a starting point, not a ceiling. The expectation at this tier is segment-specific perspective in your own voice
Sales Technology, AI Tools, and Continuous Improvement
• Operate fluently in ReSource Pro's digital sales stack: Salesforce, WRITER (enterprise generative AI platform), Qualified (Quinn AI SDR), ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and approved sequencing platforms.
• Build and refine WRITER prompts for the assigned segment; surface what's working and what isn't to enablement.
• Maintain accurate and current records in Salesforce: contact data, activity logging, opportunity stages, attribution.
• Complete and maintain GTM certification at a passing threshold.
• Collaborate with Marketing to refine messaging based on real outreach results: reply rates, meeting conversion, and disqualification reasons.
- 3-4 years of B2B outbound sales, business development, or related experience required. Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding outbound activity and pipeline targets. Prior SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience strongly preferred.
- Insurance industry experience | Familiarity with B2B sales methodology | Experience with AI-automated sales tools, including building and refining prompts | Experience with sequencing and cadence platforms
- Self-directed: operates with minimal ramp time and brings structure to ambiguity. Does not need to be told what to do next | Activity discipline: consistently hits daily and weekly activity floors across phone, email, and LinkedIn channels | Conversion accountability: focused on activity-to-meeting and meeting-hold-to-opportunity conversion, the quality metrics that drive Meetings Held and Opportunities Created | Pipeline discipline: hits targets consistently (not occasionally) and documents the work in Salesforce within approved SLAs | Account intelligence: thinks in account strategy, not single-contact outreach | Business acumen: holds credible, substantive conversations with C-suite insurance executives without leaning on a script | Vertical-partner mindset: contributes to SE account strategy and stakeholder mapping; doesn't wait for direction | Intellectual curiosity: stays current on industry trends and buyer behavior; brings what they learn into outreach | Resilience: sustains output and quality under pressure | Strong written and verbal communication | Salesforce proficiency | Comfort building and refining prompts with AI-automated sales tools
