| Physical Requirements | May include standing or sitting for greater than 5 hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach forward with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, or crouch. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. |
| Shift | -Must be available to fullfill PIC duties as related to any during and after hours needs of the location which could include weekend and holidays as needs arise. Location is currently not open on weekends and has shortened hours during extended school breaks and summers. |
| Job Summary | Seeking qualified Pharmacist to: Directly manage daily operations and has legal binding through Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) licensure to ensure the unit meets departmental and organizational goals. Participate in the routine supervision and training of Pharmacist and technical staff related to daily operations of drug distribution. Compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Review and interpret prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions are considered. Maintain inventory and records on narcotics and other forms of drugs. Pharmacist-In-Charge licensure required for legal responsibility of work unit. |
